With the acquisition of Student Life Publishing and Life Bible Study, NavPress has engaged Church Life Strategies and Dr. Herring to assist in the direct publishing area of their company. Dr. Herring was initially engaged by Student Life to assist in the launch and marketing of Life Bible Study. Now with NavPress, Church Life Strategies continues the partnership this year and has expanded to take on the training responsibilities for Life Bible Study.

CLS was engaged to assist in strategic planning and stewardship development. During this partnership, the people of NorthPark asked Dr. Herring to serve as their Executive Pastor. Now John serves under the direction of Senior Pastor, Dr. Bill Wilks, leading a staff team and lay leadership for this wonderful congregation.
Northport Baptist Church, Northport, Alabama
CLS has been a partner for Northport Baptist for many years. CLS has just completed a second capital campaign with Northport. In the past, we have also led in strategic planning and the institution of a new discipleship model.
Smoke Rise Baptist Church, Smoke Rise, Alabama
Smoke Rise Baptist Church engaged Church Life to assist in the planning and construction of a new worship facility. Church Life led the church in the following areas:
- Capital Development Campaign
- Stewardship Bible Study Lessons
- Design Development
- Engaging a Contractor
- Providing Purchasing Services
- Leading Building Team Meetings
- Serving as the Owner's Representative on the Construction Site.
The first service in the new facility for Smoke Rise was held on Easter 2008.
